54Thoughts about Marvel Legends Spider-Man VHS Green Goblin and Mary Jane 2-Pack reveal, based on their appearance from 1994 Spider-Man the Animated Series. These action figures feature all-new sculpts of Doctor Octopus and Aunt May based on their appearance from the cartoon. Green Goblin is sort of accurate to the show, but features a number of inaccuracies because he's based on the Hobgoblin action figure from the Spider-Man retro line, though his head sculpt looks good and the colors are accurate. Notably Green Goblin comes with an extra Norman Osborn head sculpt that looks very good, but has an inaccurate goblin glider and a lack of suggestion of his chainmail, while Mary Jane Watson bears a strong resemblance to her character from the show. These action figures are Hasbro Pulse exclusives on sale for probably $52.99 like the other VHS 2-packs, which is somewhat frustrating for collectors because of shipping costs and the fact that Spider-Man is Marvel's most popular character. Is this worth buying? Is this worth the price? These are excellent action figures, so you have to decide whether the shipping cost is too much for you or not and whether the quality is up to par.
