A couple other thoughts:

Daniel Bryan won the WWE Championship against a crazy number of odds and good for him. That's not what this WrestleMania will be remembered for, and that's how convoluted the WWE and its writers are: Having Taker's streak broken by a overrated, part-time UFC fighter was such a terrible decision that Daniel Bryan's Big Moment is collateral damage because of it.

Also, I've heard people draw similarities to Bruno Sammartino's title reign back in the 60s. It's not the same. Taker's streak was one of the many things that made his character and that particular PPV special. And now it's all gone and it cannot be reversed or fixed.

Have there been other upsets and emotional moments in wrestling? Absolutely, but nothing like this. This is a blemish on all of wrestling history that will never go away.
