Thoughts on Dual Monitor Scores (+Backbeat, Singularity, Descent Liveplays)
**READ DESCRIPTION**
i don't really talk about anything profound in the video, most the points i bring up in the video are already in the description anyways
timestamps if you dont want to hear my sexy voice:

chobo = simsimham
I should probably start off by saying that before I recorded this video I thought dual-screening wasn't a viable way of setting SV scores. I now believe I was wrong. However, it's not necessarily enough proof to determine whether or not foul play was involved in Chobo's scores (although it's VERY VERY likely that cheating happened). Really I just want to know what to make out of this whole situation. Usually I'm not vocal on game modification issues, especially since most of them only modify the game to better fit the player's playstyle (ie. using a towel or any other software as a lane cover for any gamemode, or the random mod)*, which I'm all for. Dual-screening is a different kind of game modification though. SVs involve memorization to some degree, sometimes requiring hours or days of practice just to understand how a chart works. If you remove that level of difficulty from a chart leaving it with the patterns to play, it becomes easier ten-fold.
That being said, the question stands: Did Chobo cheat his SV scores?
Most likely, but it's still debatable. Chobo has shown that he can still set a strong score on Backbeat Maniac (I believe based on the liveplay score he would have placed 2nd, just below Guil). Even Chobo's allegedly dual-screened score is less than 1,000 points above Guil's 2nd place score, which is praised to be legitimate. Yet, I think people make the mistake that the one score in question is his Backbeat Maniac score. Some, but not many were making foul play claims since his Aleph-0 replays. Because of this, the issue may not be his Backbeat Maniac score, but maybe some of his other first place scores on Loved SV maps, especially on Singularity (7K) where he blows all of the other players out of the water, leading 2nd place by 48,000 points. Personally this would call for liveplays on not Backbeat Maniac, but all of the other SV charts he's played (Aleph-0, Biquette, Singularity, etc.) although I don't think this would change anybody's opinion at this point. Not much will be able to change people's minds about Chobo dual-screening, and people who are unsure about whether he did or not are going to be left unsure. The only takeaway from this situation (I think anyways) is that Chobo may not be the only player potentially dual-screening. Claims have been made about Mooncha's score on Singularity (4K) already, and those seem more believable (albeit very slightly) than what's been presented against Chobo.
If you had to ask me I'd say Chobo dual-screened. But I really don't know, nobody does, and I feel that point should be stressed more often. I think that at least him showing a liveplay almost immediately after being called out shows at least that he isn't trying to hide anything.
Apologies for the finger-pointing, not really any other way to get the point across. I'd rather do that than flash Chobo's name across the screen really quickly and make some passive-aggressive comment about how he totally cheated and he's at fault for it.
And for the record, I thought the Disqus comment i had in the other video was funny, I didn't mean to put any shade on Halogen with it or the video for that matter (I mean really the dude looked like he came straight out of a jhlee stream with what he typed).
