Details and Development
Let's Go is an ENHANCED remake from original Yellow Version in 1998 with extra features and characters from previous Pokemon games, and the 20th anniversary of its release and the first title for Nintendo Switch, encounter original 151 Kanto Pokémon,. Additionally, there are few elements of Pokémon anime will appear. Junichi Masuda the director of Pokémon: Let’s Go mentioned it’s been in development for two years.

The remake is an inspiration by the mobile game Pokémon Go that will allow players to connect their Pokémon Go.
Masuda decided to make Eevee the mascot of the second game due to popularity and abundance of fan art, previously considered Psyduck as the player’s main partner for the first game, But changed his mind to the main protagonist of the Pokémon anime and manga series, Ash Ketchum’s (loosely based on a character named Red) main partner, Pikachu because Psyduck is the same colour as Pikachu.
