So never actually owned any Dinobots as a kid, although my mom did get me Bitzwing. As far as the jets were concerned, it seemed like every one of my friends had one of them but never all three. I did have Starscream though but I always wanted Thundercracker and no one could find Skywarp. When they changed over the design for the new jet based Decepticons, It was a turnoff with the cone head tops. Obviously this was done to allow the toys to transform better but it was always about the look. Myself like other kids into Transformers, obviously wanted that Anime / Cartoon presentation but it was a pipe dream in the eighties. Now the design is off the hook making dreams a reality. Seems like everyone these days are clamoring for nostalgia of the 80's and 90's. Putting aside the pandemic, its heartbreaking that things like arcades have basically died due to the situation at hand. Though vintage / retro is making a resurgence, it was the experience with your friends that made the memory. Thankfully, Hasbro was nice enough to throw an olive branch by posting the G.I Joe Cartoons streaming free on YouTube. Hopefully, Transformers is next..
