The TH8 RS has a spring plunger screw that allows you to tighten the feel of the shifter. On the other side of this screw (may not be applicable to all models), there is an M10 threaded hole. We are going to insert an M10 spring plunger into it to provide pressure to the detent plate from both sides instead of just one.

Please note that this probably voids your warranty and may reduce durability of the shifter. Me? Meh, throw caution to the wind ;-)
