Played the Japanese version in MAME. Thunder Cross a solid shmup that feels similar to Gradius, but with a change of scenery. But there's one big thing I don’t like about this game: if you get a game over on the last stage, then you can’t continue! I got to the final stage on 2 credits this time, and I was about one minute from the end. So, at least this video shows most of the game. If I ever decide to revisit this, then I’ll consider doing an intentional game over on the 6th boss. I really think it would help to start stage 7 with a full set of lives, instead of starting it on my last life like I did here.
