Easy if you have ever played Gaia Crusaders and if you can survive until stage 6 in that game.
Thunder Heroes is a Gaia Crusaders hack done by Primetec Investments in 2001. Notable differences: sped up gameplay, tons of weapons lying around (with a new throwable weapon added in a form of either a knife or a granade), it's missing GC's stage 2 and the present stages have a different order/difficulty curve/color palettes. Gone are the playable robot characters, but they made Getuki playable. She joins the roster together with Seiyen after you defeat them at the end of stage 1.
Overall, the game is a lot easier than Gaia Crusaders with some of the trickier platforming and hazard sections gone. Bosses have only a single minion guarding them.
The original is a much better game, but there are some interesting tweaks in this version.
