Here is an arrangement I put together of the song "Thunder Landing" from Konami's game Super Contra (arcade)/Super C (NES) for native SNES playback.

The audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES deck.

This is such a gung-ho, heavy, and macho theme - perfect for lighting up aliens with a spread shot! The arcade original sounded terrific with loads of heavy samples and orchestra hits, and the NES made a good approximation of it.

I wanted to see how well I could pull off a SNES rendition of the same theme, and to see how feasible the whole rock/metal guitar style was such limited space for samples. I think it came out pretty well, what do you all think?
