Mr. Half Bacon briefly describes his thunderstorm/brainstorm Halloween costume.

We used an Arduino Uno to control an individually addressable LED light strip to create the simulated lightning, and a mini bluetooth speaker to cast thunderstorm sounds. Strip was powered by a lantern battery and the arduino by a portable power pack, all contained in a borrowed mini backpack and worn underneath a jacket. LED strip attached to a bicycle helmet and covered in stuffing.
The effect while trick-or-treating at night was really cool!
