Hey guys, thanks for clicking on the video. I'm sure many of you have noticed a decline in activity on my channel in the last few months, and I want to take this opportunity to address the reasons why and to explain how things will be going forward.

I'm sure I don't need to explain the fatigue that Youtubers get after playing the same game(s) for months/years on end, and generally speaking that's what I'm dealing with at the moment. But adding to this, there have been some things going on in my personal life that, without going into detail, has meant I haven't been able to or as enthusiastic to film as much as I used to.

I think the main issue really is that I feel such a sense of obligation to put out content to keep this channel alive, that I'm forcing myself to film when sometimes I'd really rather just spend my time differently.. This exacerbates the declining enthusiasm and generally creates mediocre content that I can't even use anyway. For example, I've filmed about 20+ hours of Secret Laboratory in the last 2 weeks and have absolutely no footage at all that I can use from it, I hope you can appreciate how shitty and pointless that feels :/

So basically this is how it stands for now: I'm not going to force myself to play SCP games, I think taking a little break and recharging will be the easiest and quickest way to get back to where I used to be. If there is a significant update to an SCP game or mod I will film a video for it. New content breeds new enthusiasm. But otherwise I will take a step back. This doesn't mean I wont still be filming and putting out videos, it just means I will be playing games to actually have fun! Might be co-op games or indie horror games (suggestions welcome). I understand that this isn't why you subscribe to me so I'm okay with the inevitable declining viewership. None of us are obligated to be here, but I'm extremely humbled and grateful you are and hope that you can bear with me whilst I wander off for a while.
