In the past, Tidal Tempest was a murky, kinda hot cave. The water was safe to swim in, but its brown colour wasn’t very reassuring. It’s why the animals of Little Planet began cleaning the water via pipes and other junk. However, this was still when the caves were unexplored so not much was put in place. It will take years for the water to look clean

To make my remixes, I use a large piano with like 16 sounds and a keyboard with 100-ish sounds. To make this remix sound empty, I only used the large piano. I am the only person who will put this much thought and effort into a remix of a song from a zone I don’t like. This is my second Sonic CD remix, third if you count my old Stardust Speedway remix that I remade, so I’ve proven to myself I can do Sonic CD and I’m excited! I love Sonic CD’s OST and am pumped to put my flare into it! I got inspiration from Lava Reef Zone and Labyrinth Zone for the background. Rip my green and yellow colour pencils :(

This was supposed to be the remix after Spring Yard Zone, but then I got swamped with my Bulbasaur Challenge and realised I wouldn’t be able to make a Halloween Challenge, so instead I whipped up a Halloween remix with Mystic Cave Zone. Next was supposed to be Death Egg Zone, but since it’s going to be December soon, and I may not get my Christmas Challenge out on time (I will fucking try!) I will be doing 3 Christmas-ish-themed remixes for the season! All from the same Modern Sonic game. It’ll be my first time remixing a non-Classic Sonic Zone!
