The RLCS 2022-2023 season is played in a seasonal format. There are the RLCS Fall Split, the Winter Split and the Spring Split. Each of these seasons are divided into an Open, Cup and Invitational. So for example the first event is called RLCS 2022-2023 Fall Open, the next one RLCS 2022-2023 Fall Cup, the next one RLCS 2022-2023 Fall Invitational. Afterwards there will be the RLCS 2022-2023 Fall Major in Rotterdam.
During the regionals teams collect points to qualify for the major. The season then goes on with the RLCS 2022-2023 Winter Open, the RLCS 2022-2023 Winter Cup and the RLCS 2022-2023 Winter Invitational. The Winter Split is also capped of with a Major, the RLCS 2022-2023 Winter Major. Afterwards it continues with the RLCS 2022-2023 Spring Open, the RLCS 2022-2023 Spring Cup and the RLCS 2022-2023 Spring Invitational. Just like the other to the Spring Split is capped of with a Major, the RLCS 2022-2023 Spring Major. With all the collected points the teams form the Regions Europe (EU), North American (NA), South American (SAM), Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Sub Saharan Africa (SSA), Oceania (OCE) and Asia Pacific (APAC) will then qualify for the RLCS 2022-2023 World Championship.
The teams that are competing this season inculde: G2 Esports, NRG, Version1 (V1), Spacestation Gaming (SSG), GenG, Dignitas, Optic Gaming, Complexity, Rogue, Furia, Shopify Rebellion, XSET, Pittsburgh Knights, Luminosity, Team AXLE, Moist Esports, Team BDS, Endpoint CEX, KarmineCorp (KCorp), Evil Geniuses (EG), Team Vitality, Oxygen Esports, Team Liquid, SK Gaming, Guild Esports, Solary, GamersFirst (G1), Team Falcons, Team PWR and many more!
