For the most part I really like Windows 10, but something has always bothered me about the Windows 10 Start Menu...

For non-UWP apps, the icons displayed are tiny litle squares within the larger icon on the start menu. Frankly it looks just hideous.

Today I discovered TileIconifier which offers a quick and handy solution. In addition to being able to create full sized Icons, it can also be used to create short cuts to other types, such as folders and steam apps. Oh, and it's free and open source.

Not game dev related, but it solved a problem I've long had and I figured i'd share it here.
