Time Crisis 2 Walkthrough Part 1: Town Pursuit (INTRO & JACOB KINISKY BOSS FIGHT)
1Welcome back to my channel, dear gamers. It's been a while since my last walkthrough on the channel since i had some education-related things to sort out in real life. However, now that that's out of the way, i am proud to once again take you to the world of Time Crisis series which was last played on the channel all the way back in January 2018 when i played through both PS1 version of the first Time Crisis and its PS1-exclusive spin-off Time Crisis: Project Titan so sit back, relax and enjoy the chaos.
Please note that due to the fact that this game was originally an arcade, it is going to be extremely short (three stages in total) so this walkthrough will consist of individual stages which will be uploaded daily for the next three days. Some of the sound issues such as stuttering audio in longer cutscenes and visual issues like white filter over gameplay sections are unresolvable issues arising from the emulation and i assure you that the game is not supposed to look or sound like that. About Game: Time Crisis 2 (Stylized as Time Crisis II) is 1997 arcade light-gun rail shooter video game developed and published by Namco. While it was originally developed for Namco's System 23 arcade hardware, the game was ultimately ported to PlayStation 2 in 2001. It is a second game in the mainline Time Crisis series. The game was met with positive reviews from the critics and, while it was considered to be less revolutionary than its predecessor, 1995's Time Crisis, Time Crisis 2 carved out its own place in gaming history as a fairly successful arcade shooter.
Story of the game, while a sequel to the events of the previous game, is unconnected to its predecessor and follows Keith Martin and Robert Baxter, agents of organization called V.S.S.E. who are tasked with stopping NeoDyne Industries, world's leading communications conglomerate led by a man named Ernesto Diaz, from launching an nuclear satellite into orbit and saving their collegue, agent named Christy Ryan, who was captured by NeoDyne's mercenaries after uncovering Diaz's plan to launch the satellite using NeoDyne's commmunication satellite network called StarLink Network as a cover.
Soon after uncovering NeoDyne's plan, Christy reaches her safehouse in an unnamed seaside town where she tries to contact V.S.S.E. in order to send them the information regarding the satellite. However, her safehouse is quickly breached by NeoDyne's mercenaries led by a man named Jacob Kinisky who, while initially believing to have managed to stop Christy from leaking information to her superiors, ends up forced on the run as Keith and Robert reach the safehouse and start pursuing him and Christy, who was taken hostage. After a violent shootout with NeoDyne's forces that leads them into the town's canals, Keith and Robert corner Jacob and kill him after a boat chase. However, since he already had Christy sent directly to Diaz, Keith and Robert are only able to recover Christy's laptop taken by Jacob from which they discover the schematics of NeoDyne's nuclear satellite and that it will be moved by the train, strengthening their resolve to save their collegue and stop NeoDyne...
