Time Crisis playthrough (PS2) (1CC)
52Gunvari Collection + Time Crisis is the name of a Japanese exclusive collection which includes Gun Bullet, Gunbarl, Gunbalina (these games are known as the Point Blank series outside of Japan) and Time Crisis. All of the included games are the same as the original Playstation versions, making it a bit pointless to own if you have the individual games already. However, the games now work with the Guncon 2, so if you really prefer using that lightgun over the original Guncon, I guess maybe this is worth owning. There are two versions of the collection available: a standalone version, and a boxset which includes the collection and a Guncon 2 lightgun.
Anyway, Time Crisis. It's the most difficult game in the series as you've basically got no idea if an enemy projectile is going to hit you or not. The guys in red are guaranteed to shoot you but for pretty much everyone else outside of the bosses you just won't know. So to clear this on one credit you need to do a lot of popping out, firing a single round, then hiding again and repeating this. Accurate shooting is the key but there's a bit of a problem with the Playstation version: the hit detection doesn't seem too good. I've read that the arcade version doesn't have this issue but having never played this game in an arcade I don't know. The PS2 version doesn't improve things. This is a playthrough of the special scenario, which as an exclusive new set of levels added to the Playstation port. There are several different paths to take, this is a playthrough of the easiest path. To take this route, just wait around in the lobby when the elevator door opens. If you wait long enough, the door will shut again and you'll go to the basement.
Oh and I apologize but I have no idea how to record a lightgun game in HD. I could do it if I used a regular controller, but I can't beat these games with that, I have to use a Guncon. I guess it's not that bad for this game since it runs at 30fps anyway.
