I don't know that I've ever talked about her, but there IS a robot version of myself out there, I think.
She originally began as more of an in-joke or mythology gag for the automated processes outside YouTube itself that make my various comings and doings at all bearable from a logistics standpoint... y'know, especially since it became rather insistently contrary when it came to cross-posting and acknowledging social media platforms outside itself.
(Personally, I don't consider YouTube to be a "social" media platform... especially since they keep axing and minimizing the actual social elements, so I'm more attached to it as a generalize multimedia outlet and little besides.)
The "robojo" or "jobot" was more or less a placeholder for automated processes to indicate that a video or stream went live. She's a token Twitch emote for lack of anything more specialized or especially interesting. I don't think I can pretend like she doesn't really exist anymore. Which has also resulted in her creeping into my thoughts now and again.
her original 1.0 design was just a creepy headshot with super exaggerated robotic features and uncanny intent... sort of like Robo-Ky.
However, she was obviously not satisfied with that. She wanted more. She reads too much Pinocchio, I suspect.
Moreover, because I apparently hate myself, I decided to experiment with designing something somewhere in between. Obviously mechanical in nature, but with far less harsh design and... nowhere near as... "industrial" sensibility.
I think what came through was some kind of bizarre fusion of Curly Brace and C-3PO... with just a pinch of the uncanny valley from an old vodka commercial, why not? ...no, Jo-Bot! It's flammable, but it's not going to fuel your power cells!
