[Dark] Match #1 -- Forgotten City (Lancer Staff) / (Fortune Bow)

The Lancer Staff is an odd duck among true oddities... not so much in its general attack patterns, but because it's one of the game's long range variety classes... but it's also designed to run up and whack people with it?

Pay no mind to my bizarre detour to check out the jump pad. It didn't even matter in the end, right? Don't worry about it!

[Dark] Match #2 -- Lava Basin (Atlas Club) / (Guardian Orbitars)

Team life gauges can be depleted in a flash in a place like this, especially if you're swinging around a hefty hurt-stick that can hurl them out of bounds.

Do not be alarmed! It's a perfectly valid strategy to self-terminate in order to grab that last respawn that pushes your team over the edge and into Angel time.

... ... ...just... make sure you don't put your whole team in jeopardy by specifically attempting to tank their overall longevity and chances at winning the whole thing.

Um. So, like... I actually DID warn you in one of the free-for-all descriptions that not all platform edges are equally viable as ringout zones. This applies to trying to strategically off yourself as well, so... just beware!

[Dark] Match #4 -- Spiral Tower (Bullet Blade) / (Doom Cannon)

The Doom Cannon is a really, really weird one. And I kinda like it. But also, it's supremely unwieldy and you'll be hard pressed to catch even a computer player off guard with its... interesting charge shots.

Naturally, I hadn't forgotten the REAL reason for being "social" and playing... with myself... for an unseemly duration: sweet, sweet loot.

Huh, the Rail Temple was an unlockable from the get-go. No wonder we never went there!

... ... ...well, there'll certainly be other chances to revisit the mode, but I think it's for the best that we take our treasure and leave, hopefully upping our arsenal in the meantime, so it can be significantly less... embarrassing?
