Now I know how to do it after all the trial and error... I should be able to make a video on it.
This is the first time I had a car part that scaling the DAE in blender was not going to work. Because it uses those new global scaling properties like the resizable ETK uses. DAE is scaled in the jbeam instead.
crazy thing is that dae would not load in blender until I edited the dae text to remove a line that was causing it not to load.
