Time to Meet out Maker Lies of P Demo Walkthrough Part 3 1440p Max Settings
Lies of P is an upcoming soulslike video game developed by Round8 Studio and published by Neowiz Games, both South Korean companies. The game will be released on September 19, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is loosely based on the 1883 Italian novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.
After being a massive fan of Bloodborne for many years I couldn't wait to get my hands on this game that seemed to have the same atmosphere and style to combat. Thankfully this demo has been released to give people an opportunity to experience the game before release (something that I think more games should do).
Although it might not be as direct a sequel to bloodborne as I originally hoped Lies of P definitely takes a lot of inspiration from Bloodborne, but also takes inspiration from many other soulslikes like Sekiro and Elden Ring. So gameplay is definitly a mix of different aspects of those games.
It was good to see when playing the game that it definitely has a very unique atmosphere and I really like how they have used the story of Pinocchio to influence the art direction and some of the gameplay mechanics and it will be interesting to see how it influences the games later on.
If you are interested in finding out more about the gameplay they released a overview video that you can watch here: https://youtu.be/Rr0v0lGde2o I recommend watching this if you are interested in the game or still undecided if you want to check out the game or demo.
I like how they have presented the story so far with meeting characters that are important to the Pinocchio story, many of which provide a lot of world building and backstory to the game. There are also many notes throughout the world that provide information on different areas and some of the bosses. I am interested to see how closely the game follows the story of Pinocchio and to see how they let it influence gameplay. There also seems to be a morality system similar to the Metro series when talking to some NPC's so I am curious to see how much that will effect the story or even the gameplay in some areas.
At the moment I am not entirely sure if I will able to cover this game at release on the channel as there are several other games coming out this year that I would like to cover for all of you; and depending on how long the Elden ring playthrough takes I don't really want to have more than one soulslike game on the channel at a time as it is still quite a niche genre. Which is why I definitely wanted the demo on the channel. But if you want to see the full game on the channel when it comes out let me know by smashing the like button and getting this video as many views as possible.
Another thing that I wanted to point out is how flawless the performance of the demo has been and I hope that the full game releases in the same state.
Thanks for watching and all the comments of support Subscribe for more.
