2:55 Downloading the latest version of dolphin will not work with the Timesplitters mouse injector. It only supports the included version of Dolphin. This is due to a internal GC RAM pointer shifting for every new version of Dolphin.

3:26 Extracting the mouse injector zip over a dolphin install will cause problems such as above, and create unknown issues due to the file differences between dolphin versions (e.g. 8414 vs 9111). It can also cause problems for users who extract over their dolphin folder which they've been using. For example: if a user already has dolphin setup and extract the mouse injector bundle within the same directory, it will also extract portable.txt. This turns on portable mode and redirects user settings to \Dolphin\User\ instead of using the default \My Documents\Dolphin\. For some, it will appear that the mouse injector replaced all of their previous saves and settings. I've seen a couple people complain that the 'mouse injector doesn't work' and 'removed my saves' and had to reinstall dolphin to 'fix' it because they installed over a different version of dolphin.

The only difference between the current version and dolphin build 9111 are added files: user directory/mouse injector/readme.txt. Everything else is coped from the original dolphin build zip at dolphin-emu.org/download/

Koch Media, owned by THQ Nordic have confirmed they now own the TimeSplitters AND Second Sight IPs. That means that we should be getting a Timesplitters game or Timesplitters HD remaster in the future. Hopefully. One of their other games, Homefront The Revolution, had big Timesplitters easter eggs in it, So watch this space.

Next, how to play TimeSplitters 2 on PC with mouse and keyboard support. I cannot tell you how great it plays. No need for Timesplitters HD remasters with this Gamecube mouse injector and Timesplitters HD emulation! This was sent to us in a comment on another Timesplitters 2 video and it looked so good I had to check it out. The game on Hard now becomes Normal, except for Virus Mode which still sucks.
