TimeSplitters (PS4) [FR] - MortaPlay [Extras: Cheat codes, MapMaker and Bonus]
1Hi! We have completed the different modes of TimeSplitters, but we can still explore the game’s extra content!
Let me show you the cheats and the map editor!
The ‘codes’ that you unlock in this first TimeSplitters transform it into an even more absurd parody of itself!
While some only provide advantages, others are comical and can for example replace the sound effects with cartoon or toad noises! It makes for a hilarious experience!
From the beginning, the TimeSplitters series features the MapMaker, a very good editor that allows you to create your own zones, with specificities exclusive to this original title!
I tested its options and its different themes. It was by making a level there that I obtained the last achievement of this version, and thus the platinum!
I also wanted to showcase the arcade with the cheats, but it crashed in the character select…
I thought this problem only happened to my disc when playing it on the slim model of a PlayStation 2, but no, it also occurs through PS4 and PS5 emulation!
So, I captured the trophies of this port instead before concluding with a demo starting if you wait on the main menu…
I will probably make some extras on MortaDolly for each level of the arcade…
As for this channel, we’re done with the original TimeSplitters! We’ll return to the second title for the leagues and challenges, then we can move on to the third game…
