I'm not an Ecologist. My name is not Kruglov. My job is to infiltrate the Ecologist Faction and make them believe, that I am one of them. I will look like one of them. I will act like one of them. I will live like one of them. I have to do it the hard way. This is the Exclusion Zone, and it takes your full attention, talent and wit, just to be able to survive. If you lack any of those, you won't last very long. When someone calls for Kruglov, I will answer to it. I am the Tinker.

Encrypted Diary: When I returned to the Mobile Lab, I found an Ecologist squad providing security outside. I decide to release my Military Companions, since I had to be careful with their different allies and enemies than my own Faction. Being in different Factions makes travel very risky. When I released the Military soldiers, the five of them split into three different directions, with two men in each group except the solitary one remaining.

I tracked them on my PDA and soon I leave the Mobile Lab to head back to the Concrete Bath area where three of the soldiers were headed south to the Red Forest. Sadly, they did not make it out of Jupiter alive, as an enemy Loner ambushed them.

* Game Note: I don't know why my released Companions did not defend themselves when attacked. Maybe because they had been left on "passive" when I released them. I will have to be sure to change their status to "defensive" or "aggressive" the next time I release Companions.
