I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: Some unknown hostiles were in the Southern Woods, so I took a few shots at them to see what would happen. This enticed them to get closer, where to my surprise I identified them as Loners, my own Faction. This didn't make any sense until I realized these were the Loners, that had stolen the Armorer's Tools that I was supposed to recover. I didn't realize they had left the Marshes and walked right up to me. I called my Companions to come out and they had a brief firefight, without me getting a violation for Friendly Fire. I ran down below to recover the Armorer's Tools.

* Game Note: This was difficult as I did this scenario several times, trying to wound them and not killing them, but by shot and grenade I kept killing them. Since the Military would only see them as Loners and an ally, I could not rely on them to interfere. I finally realized that my Companions could help out, as I put them on aggressive and had them come out of the Trader's building and out into the open, where they saw them as enemies like I do. After a couple of tries, my Companions killed the Loners, and I recovered the Tools.
