I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: We arrived in Yantar and found one of the Ecologists named Vasiliev, dead outside the Mobile Lab, just beyond the walls. It appeared it wasn't recent, so it didn't just happen. An Emission made us go inside the Mobile Lab for shelter.

After the Emission, I detected two hostile forces outside the Mobile Lab, by my infrared scanner. Since they were standing on the opposite side of the Mobile Lab's door, we were able to exit it and go around the outer perimeter, where we made our quick escape to the Agroprom. It might have been some hostile Mercs in Yantar, just like the ones in Garbage. I guess some of the Mercs are mad that I left their Faction, despite the DFR telling me they are my allies. I was going to have to be really careful. A similar situation happened when I left the Ecologists. They hunted me for weeks.

* Game Note: I redid our arrival in Yantar, hoping or thinking that Vasiliev might still be alive, and I can do something different to keep him that way. However, when I redid it, Vasiliev was still dead, leading me to believe it happened some time ago. The last time I was in Yantar, in the same vicinity was with 36 Mercs leaving the X-16 Lab, and we escaped without incidence.

In the previous video, after the Emission and when I went topside, I was attacked by a Mercenary. I killed the Mercenary but then immediately got the message I had a violation for Friendly Fire. That is why I reloaded my last save and did not go outside when I redid it. In this video, I go to Flyover mode to see what the two hostile Mercs are doing, before I decide I think I can slip past them and leave the level.
