I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: While I was busy talking to Sidorovich, I heard the sound of a PDA message announcement, but I didn't check to see what it was. The arrival of two Loners that Sidorovich wants me to take to the Marshes, showed up in the bunker, keeping me distracted. It wasn't until I checked my PDA, did I notice I had a new task to see General Voronin and the task to see Lieutenant Kirilov was gone. Then I realized all the Military tasks were gone, meaning the Military and Loners were now at war. This was expected as my Faction relations score with the Military was so much in the negative range, and the reason I didn't even try to go to the Agroprom, for that artifact job.

I picked up several Loner jobs, with three of them all being at the Pump Station and involving the three Bandits that I had seen earlier. The whole reason I had left those Bandits alone, when I spotted them from the Watch Tower, was killing them could harm my Duty relations. Now it looks like I would have to return to deal with them.

I went over the hill to the south, seeing a Chimera had moved into the camp there. I enticed it to come after me, and I ran around to the front where I thought it was going, only to have to go to the rear when I heard gunfire. After dispatching the Chimera, I went to the Trash Pit for artifacts and activated stashes. Later I went up to the road where I killed a Snork. I returned to the Rookie Village and noticed it was almost midnight.
