I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: A Military soldier had given me a job to take out a Monolith, that was holed up in the train tunnel, close enough to go alone. It was still foggy, and I took a route to avoid any enemy Factions but got spotted by a hostile Merc, over at the gate of the Agroprom Factory. I crossed the road and went back into the hills to lose him.

As I passed over the tunnel, I detected 3 enemies below ground with my infrared scanner. Those had to be all Monolith, since they had no allies and one of the three was my target. I was hitting a few stashes in the far north Agroprom, when a Psi Storm hit. There was nowhere to go but inside the tunnel for shelter. I could not reach any other safe location in time.

All throughout the day, I have gotten deteriorating relations with the Military, Mercenaries and now Clear Sky. My Military numbers dropped in the negative yellow so low, that one more incident they could flip. If they did and we were still at the Military Base, they could go hostile on us and attack my Companions. It just wasn't safe to stay in the Agroprom for the night, so we went south into the Marshes.
