I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: I got a job from one of the Skadovsk sentries for a Val I did not have. Another of the sentries said he would give me a Val, if I took care of the Freedom soldier after him. Outside I found a Controller that needed zapping. A few mutant Dogs and Tushkano got some lead. The sun was already going down, but I knew if I waited, he might suddenly take off in another direction before I could catch up with him.

So, with that in mind I set off alone, headed towards the Substation. I did not make it before I got the bad news. My target had been killed by Ecologists there. That gave me a failed mission since I was not the one that killed him. I almost turned around to return to the ship, but decided to continue on to the Substation to see the aftermath of the firefight. What I did next with the Ecologists that I met there, was not planned.

* Game Note: The target at the Substation was too far away from me on the Skadovsk to be on-line. The Freedom soldier remained in off-line mode and as soon as I got in range, is when the Freedom and Ecologists must have gone on-line and when I got the message of the outcome. You don't get credit in some situations, usually when they're personal, if someone else kills your target. I lost 50 points with the Loners when the mission failed.
