Defeating the fourteen currently available bosses in the initial early access build for Tinkerlands on Survivor (aka hard) difficulty and without taking damage.

The bosses are a bit on the easier side particularly with a ranged build as bosses only have 2-3 attacks and sometimes they die before using all of their abilities. I generally tried to use appropriate gear for each boss, however the Slime King can spawn naturally once conditions are met and defeating it gives a fruit that gives a charge of dash so my recording is fighting it again with dash unlocked (which makes the fight notably easier). Additionally, it seems like Corrupted King is meant to be fought before Banshee given the placing of its boss ore on the furnace/anvil page but I did so afterwards (and Banshee rewards make the fight much easier particularly the boots that give your dashes iframes).

Overall, this is an alright crafting survival game. There's the obvious Terraria influence (and some of the music sounds a lot like Terraria's) but this feels somewhat closer to Necesse (particularly when the boat is unlocked even if the exploration is different). There are no levels or skills so you get stronger through gear (other than life/mana flowers which cap out quickly). Because you can keep rerolling islands you can explore biomes from scratch for specific loot or achievements although I never needed any of the generic biome islands. I also felt base walking speed was too slow even with speed boosting gear - dashes help and your hook is situationally helpful but it's no wonder the haste potion is a whopping 175% speed increase. One thing I did like was the infinite HP/MP potions that made playing a mage more feasible (even if it took me ages to realize the potion could be upgraded!).

I found the Overgrown Crab good to farm for gold as it's 14g plus 2g per weapon sold and you might have already got a number of its summons from the blue crabs. You can also get 5x Quetzalcoatl summons per Jungle island (but I didn't pay attention to how good the gold was). This and other bosses raised the funds to pay the costs for rerolling for legendary weapons which was pretty damn expensive if unlucky.

Still, it's early access so hopefully more polish makes this a really good game. There is a good bit to explore right now.
