This is something I wanted to do real quick. There was somebody complaining about Tiny Metal in general and I wanted to make a point with this mission, which bugged myself before the 1.09 patch. One of the person's complaints was how the Fighter was useless to build on this map because if you had the ONLY Airport on it, you would not have to fight air units at all. I was wanting to point out that the Fighter could get on Hills faster to manage extra Vision.

I didn't get to prove my point well, because 1.09 buffed movement of a good number of units--which let me tell you tones up the pace of the game, thank heavens, though I still am wondering why Scout doesn't have a Vision buff to help her own viability along. The patch also toned down the Movement of the Fighter, something I don't agree with. I'd rather the Fighter instead have had a higher cost instead so that it's harder to buy and would have more difficulty managing air superiority but in return it could provide faster Vision. Fortunately, things went surprisingly well, and I ended up making good use of the Assault and Focus Fire commands. Assault was surprisingly useful in flanking the enemy force in the end because I suffocated their movement capability to the point where they couldn't do anything about the more desirable targets--though surprisingly, the AI farted and didn't do anything, unless they were just too blinded to get to do anything, not sure how that would be the case, but then again, I'm also wondering how the enemy Strikers are getting +1 Range.

Regardless, I did manage to avoid losing any units and I managed to get the Gold. Hooray! Avenged my problems with the map before where I lost 2 or 3 units and I think I took too long.
