Using Rufus To Create Windows To Go USB Drive
www.rufus.com

As all Windows 10 users likely know, the Windows To Go feature was first introduced with Windows 8, although there were third-party solutions to install Windows to USB drive even before the release of Windows 8. For those who haven’t heard about Windows To Go before this, the feature allows you to install and run Windows 10 from a USB drive.

The Windows To Go feature of Rufus is available only when you are running the software on Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 versions. This means that you need a PC running Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10 in order to prepare Windows To Go drive using Rufus.
The size of the USB drive that you want to use as Windows To Go drive must be at least 16 GB. We recommend you use a USB drive with a capacity of 32GB, though.

1: Download Rufus
2: Connect your USB
3: Launch Rufus
4: Select your USB drive
5: Select the partition scheme from the available three options. If you’re going to use the Windows To Go drive with the MBR partition scheme, select the “MBR partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI computer.” - for old BIOSes/computers
6: Select the File system as NTFS as FAT32 can’t be used to create Windows To Go. You can safely skip the Cluster size section.
7: Click the browse icon next to Create a bootable disk using the option to browse to your Windows ISO file and then select the same.
8: Select the Windows To Go option before clicking the Start button.

Next Step
1. Restart your PC to enter BIOS and change the boot order to let Windows run from the USB drive.
3. Then the setup appears. Choose a language, time format, and keyboard method.
(install Tiny11)
4. Accept the Microsoft Software license Terms.
5. The installation process starts.
7. After finishing the installation, set up Tiny11 by following the on-screen instructions.

Tiny11 Requirements
In terms of Tiny11 requirements, a scant 8GB of storage and just 2GB of RAM are required and Windows 11 can run well. Even there is a crazy thing – someone can let Tiny11 run on 200MB of RAM but the running speed is very slow. The lightweight Windows 11 installer – Tiny 11 is released and this tool allows you to install Windows 11 on old & lower-end PCs.

The operating system itself in Tiny11 takes up only 6.34GB while the rest is used by some rudimentary apps like Paint, Notepad, and Calculator. Besides, no TPM is required to install Tiny11. What’s more, the Microsoft Store app is left intact, so you can run it to download and install some apps you need. And this Windows 11 tiny edition uses a local account by default but the option to set up an online account remains.

Due to the cut-down nature, many features you need are not included in Windows 11 Lite Edition/Tiny Edition - Tiny11. The operating system won’t update automatically and you may notice future releases from NTDev. Note that Tiny11 isn’t supported by the official Windows.

Steps
1. Go to bit.ly/tiny-11_download
2. Download tiny11 b2(no sysreq).iso - 3.8gb

Other Tips:
1. Use Rufus portable if you want to
2. Download the tiny11 (no sysreq) to have ISO that bypass TPM, and Secure Boot on your PC (for older builds)
3. Please enable access of localdisk by Windows To Go option (in Rufus setup) if you have other installer in localdisk
4. Use other debloater to skim down the tiny11. For example BloatyNosy (github), JunkCtrl (github)
5. Use Wintoys to optimise and skim down further (from Ms Store)
6. Use Portableapps.com to install softwares, although the Portableapps is somewhat slower, you can directly search for portable softwares like portable Telegram messenger or portable Opera browser
