Top Questions:
How long does review take?
App Lab submissions are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Due to the high volume of submissions, coupled with app failures review time is tracking to be 4-5 weeks on average. After this initial wave, average review time is expected to shorten significantly in the upcoming months.
Can we update apps while in review?
Submitted apps have a window opportunity to be updated until the status changes to ‘Under Review’. Once ‘under review’, await approval team feedback to make changes/updates or the build will reset its position in the review queue.
What to expect after approval?
When a submission is approved, the app is published immediately.
The app will be re-reviewed periodically to make sure they still meet our policies.
Build updates can be submitted anytime after approval and will publish immediately. Metadata updates like cover art or app description will be reviewed prior to them being published.

Common Review Failures and Tips:

Failures lengthen the time of each review. The best way to get your game published as speedy as possible is to double check that your app meets all the VRC requirements.

Security VRC - Excessive Permissions: https://developer.oculus.com/distribute/vrc-quest-security-2/
When you’re using APIs make a list of all the permissions being used and remove any permissions that don’t have a reasonable explanation for its use.
Our guidelines will show you how to gather this list in your app. We also have other great resources about android permissions here: . https://developer.android.com/training/permissions/requesting

Functional VRC - last Common Failure type:
Functional.2 Single player apps must pause when the user removes the HMD or opens the Oculus Dash. https://developer.oculus.com/distribute/vrc-quest-functional-2/
Functional.7 If your app requires Internet connectivity for its core functionality, notify users without an active Internet connection that one is required. https://developer.oculus.com/distribute/vrc-quest-functional-7/
