This is gameplay from my first night playing the game. I did not play the beta at all.

Some thoughts and personal opinions of the game below.

Please note I did not pay for the game so some aspects of my opinions and comments are skewed.

I don't really care about the Titans but the parkour feature within the game is quite fun but at the same time they could have done so much more with it. Think of a mode that is essentially a Jet Set Radio but with wall running jumping trick combinations with guns :)

I was trying to see if I could play through the entire game without ever getting into the Titan and instead just using it as bait or a decoy/distraction. That one round of CTF I didn't really have a choice as the other team would always try to steal our flag with a Titan so I couldn't just sit around near our flag cap waiting as a pilot. It was either get into the Titan and hold out long enough for my team to kill the enemy Titan and retrieve our flag or risk the three on one as a pilot which was a bit of a risk considering we were down two flag ( yes we did win ). So Titans being able to carry and retrieve flags is a bit of a bummer. I'd prefer it wasn't like that so my play-style could work in all game modes but whatever.

Also a bummer the "auto-Titan" doesn't level through the weapons it uses when it gets kills. Meaning I'll have to use the Titan myself in order to unlock specific items for the guns they use.

A good thing to note is there are no noticeable "speed limits". What I mean by that is weapon switching and time to fire combined with movement is limited almost entirely by how fast you can move your fingers. Battlefield 3/4 both have speed limits that will often get you killed because the game is slower than your fingers.

One thing I find odd is the lack of demo recording or theatre mode. Mainly because it's a game based on the Source engine but also because this game was set up for iconic mech/pilot battle moments. Moments where a Titan going nuclear kills everything around it and the ejected pilot rodeos down another Titan to finish off the streak. It's just surprising they wouldn't have something built in to help players capture and share those epic moments ( it's free advertising yo ).

Holy fucking ass crackers the install for Titanfall is huge. They explained why ( audio files ) but that still doesn't make up for what is essentially a "multiplayer only" game, I could understand map files being the cause if the maps were actually big but they aren't.

**What do I think of the game?**
To me it's meh. Honestly when I watched beta footage I got bored really fast simply because of the gameplay itself not because the video was bad. I don't see how it will get past a month without a significant drop in players because of the very few ways to play the game and still win or have fun. I guess a simpler question would be is it worth $60 dollars? In my opinion no not really but I'm basing that on a game focused around multiplayer only and how many hours I expect an average player to get out of it before getting bored.

But it is a complete game as in it has everything promised at launch and it launched with no significant bugs/glitches/balance issues which is extremely rare these days with high profile games. If you think that is worth $60 or you have a bunch of friends that are playing and enjoying the game go for it and enjoy it while you can.
