This could potentially be one of my spicier videos, if only due to the timing. Though this is not meant to be commentary on present politics, though it is heavily inspired by history.

At any rate, here's a hypothetical TNO2 outcome for a KALIBAPI/Co-Prosperity Sphere Philippines path. Whether due to Japan suffering a decisive defeat in the Great Asian War or the seating government proves too ineffectual, KALIBAPI's grip over the country weakens to the point that the military deserts and sides with an increasingly rebellious Filipino people (which may or may not have OFN aid). The result is the "Bloodless Revolution", which topples the regime, with the Japanese unable to really do anything but grant the nation its long-denied independence. Whether Filipinos will succeed afterwards? That is an open question.

If that sounds familiar, it's because it takes inspiration from the 1986 People Power Revolution, which not only toppled Ferdinand Marcos Sr., but also (indirectly) influenced the breakdown of the Iron Curtain in OTL. Even if its symbolism today can be bittersweet at best, its cultural and historical significance nonetheless remains.

For some trivia, the music used is the "Awit ng Tagumpay" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1rsqgCig00 ), a Filipino rendition of "El Pueblo Unido" that's much more overtly anti-colonialist than anything else...before transitioning to the opening notes from the original version of "Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo" by Jim Paredes ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGYLidxrr2E ), which is associated with the People Power revolution. The video clips meanwhile are from a 1940s wartime propaganda film showing the actual KALIBAPI regime ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCPO1rET_Qk ), as well as NHK footage ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55o8ydNg7NA ), and a ABC News Special ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zHGBrCllD8 ) from 1986.
