I think people don't like this map? I can understand why, although I am a fan of it. How I feel about Deepest Reaches is mood dependent, sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. Either way I think Wrought in Blood is a great track for the cave theme, and its source material "Blood Jungle" is one of the best from the original soundtrack. Giving this map a difficulty rating is hard, since the first and second playthrough are vastly different. In the first playthrough, if you take it in the linear order, and you don't know about any of the incredibly cryptic secrets, then you will be punished with a slog of SSG peeking and low ammo and low health. You will be running back and forth around the map trying to figure out how to progress, and then still probably reach the end missing sections of the map that are hidden but non-secret. I enjoy it a little more each time I play it and feel less inclined to find a guide for the one part I'm forgetting. With full knowledge, it is instead empowering in a way to have the option of blasting through the map with a megasphere and a ton of cells, or play through it traditionally. The room where the walls open up with a big trap is the best fight, and you can get shredded without prioritizing the chaingunners.
