To The Blacksmith! - Apotheon Part 2
1We continue our efforts to save our home of Dion! First we rescue Pyrius the Blacksmith, and gain some much needed armor, then off to the slave ship to free our fellow villegers!
Apotheon is a 2D adventure platformer, set in Ancient Greece. You play as Nikandreos, a man on a quest to take vengeance against the gods after they've turned their backs and left the world to die, and take their powers for his-self to ensure mankind's survival.
The developers try to stay true to the Anceint Greek myths, often providing excerpts from ancient text (such as Homer's Iliad) about the various deities and creatures you meet along the way. Apotheon's narrative is based on Ancient Greek mythology, along side the gods you will meet, and often fight against, many mythological heroes and monsters. A wide variety of ancient bronze-aged weapons are available; as well as some mythical/magical weapons, such as arrows made of rare hydra bone, that split into three when loosed. Giving a nice variety to fights.
