Oculus Quest
The classic PSVR title finally makes it's way onto the Oculus Quest through Side Quest. (Bought through Itcho $17.99)
This a free running platform racer where you have to go from point A-B using only surfaces that you can grip onto. How you get there is up to you. Along the way you can stop or go on a detour to collect crystals or you can just try and get to the finish in as quick as time as is possible.
Graphically this is equal to the PSVR version, I did experience a couple of glitches where your head went into the scenery and the game reset to my previous save point. Save points are globes set along your route so you don't need to completely restart a tricky level.
With the freedom of the quest allowing you to turn in mid-flight I found myself getting more and more daring as my confidence grew. The platforms you climb are mainly blue, although later in the game collapsing yellow holds and travellators are added to hinder your speed runs.
I really enjoy the freedom that this game allows you to explore each level, you will find the quickest shortest routes, but you won't find all the crystals.
Because of the type of movement required it may take you a little bit of time to get used to the motion of moving and twisting your body, stick with it though, because this game is even better now it has found it's perfect home.
