Spoilers: I don't beat the level this episode.

During the episode I say I'm going to quit the LP, but... I'm having second thoughts. Like, since I chose not to continue, I actually still have 203 lives if I load my save again. I could farm up a bit more and maybe beat the level? I was pretty close to the end. Also, like, I'd recorded this directly after Half Minute Hero and Robotrek, before even having breakfast. Maybe things would've been different if I took a break and ate something (or maybe not: the level is genuinely super tough, though I may have at least maintained a better mood).

After recording this episode, I started looking at the game's data files to see if I could figure out how many levels there were left, and there were human readable files that also told me the sizes of the stages. This stage is a room that's 240 wide and 35 tall, then a room that's 240x20 and autoscrolling, then a room that's 30x20 (probably just with a goal in it, basically).

There are two more stages in the world after this one, but... maybe they can be done?

Stage 8 is going to have 7 submaps, but many of them will be small. Stage 9 is going to be a single room: perhaps just the boss fight as its own level, unlike the rest of the game.

I might not keep Tobari in a timeslot at all, though. Keep playing weekly, but just upload it when I actually reach something new. I really want to finish it, but... it's getting to be a bit much, you know? Maybe if it goes another month without me even beating this level, then I'll quit. For now, I'm gonna go farm some lives.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, cuts between the last checkpoint and the end of the video totaled to 7:39.
