Tokens are widely used in cloud native applications as a stateless, self-contained, and performant security model. In IBM MQ we have embraced JWT as a common mechanism for both MQ clients and the console. Token management is non-trivial however, so we’ll also be discussing where further standards such as JWKS and OIDC are being used, and we’ll be keen to hear from you on how we should further evolve in this area.
