I got a brand new Brompton folding bike (partly to replace my car and help me save money) and decided to take it for a spin about Tokyo! You'd be surprised how much awesome stuff you can find just by getting off the train and cycling until you find something interesting. Highly recommend it :)

If you're visiting Japan and don't have a bike with you don't worry I saw bike rental places here and there. It's often a much faster way of seeing more things if you're short on time and as a bonus, it's cheaper than taking the train ;)
