Very nice mice and ducks spawn in general with some saving a few time losses from time to time, no dog grab or cat petrification as well. Not many gold mice to help out in levels with high mice count especially level 2.
As Tom moves slower it is essential to try to optimize movement with throws. So, when 2-3 mice are together, throwing is the fastest way to move on the capture sequence.

Throws need to be precise since mice are capped only if they don't bounce above the circle. Plus they can be grabbed further down than up, which is helpful since we almost always have to go down to get points.

Using bombs will have an effect from +1 -1 to +3 -3 when used correctly thus why I sometimes throw mice towards Jerry's cap point. The Mice counter is only changed when the mouse reach the top of the screen hence its usefulness when it is on the top part of the level.

A few things can also be observed in rare cases:

1- The score is only counted when the screen is transitioning after the victory / loss. If you lose but get a bomb to blow up Jerry's hole, one can overturn the results up until the very end and still get the win and pass on to the next. However, the reverse side effect can happen too and you have to redo the level.

2- During the mole minigame, it is possible to get a negative score if you hit a white mouse, this result in a softlock as the result gives an underflow in the final score if you don't balance it back.
