Tom & Jerry was developed by Hi-Tech Expressions for the Super Nintendo in the early 90's. I have a notorious history playing their games- and in general I don't like what Hi-Tech Expressions put out. The most infamous case on this channel is the 'Muppets at the Carnival' POS episode. It seems like Hi-Tech Expressions is one of those 'licensed business partners' to be 'trusted' with large franchises and to shit out a game, no matter how awful. A comparable company is LJN- who should have stuck to manufacturing toys and not butchering franchises in the form of video games. But I digress.

I had trouble with this game in my earlier years due to its slippery controls. But as an adult it is not as difficult. The only thing that stands about about the game is that it is a mediocre platformer. It appears that they took the IDEA of a platformer and molded Tom & Jerry directly around it, not taking Tom & Jerry and coming up with an exciting and fun game. Is this game a turd? kind of, but not really. I can record the entire game if there is enough interest- but you'll get the idea after watching the first two stages. If I would rather watch the Tom & Jerry cartoon then the game should have been taken back to the drawing board.
