Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint: Yellow Seed
Briefing:
An Outcast underground radio station had recently been broadcasting a series of podcasts from a Skell biochemical engineer who goes by the name of 'Seed'. In these podcasts, the voice (who has been altered for protection) claims that Sentinel are at the final stages of building a new biochemical weapon. He also claims that it's only a matter of days before the weapon reaches test phase, fearing they will be targeting either Outcast members or Homesteaders.
Intel had taken his warnings seriously but could not proceed further since no other evidence of this claim was found. Unfortunately, this proved costly. Last night, residents of Harris Homestead had radioed a distress call, claiming they were being shelled by nearby mortars. When Command tried to return the call seconds later, no reply came thereafter. Fearing the worst, a NEST squad was sent to investigate and as feared, most of the residents were found dead. Evidence from the shelling as well as the bodies has revealed traces of a modified form of Mustard Gas, further proven by the frozen state of the cadavers. To add salt to the wound, Sentinel were able to identify the illegal broadcaster after interrogating the remaining survivors. They raided his home, captured him and is currently being held in Anderson's Farm.
Ghosts, your mission will be to rescue the biochemical engineer held at the farm, while a specialised NEST team, consisting of highly trained members of many international special forces, will storm the facility where Intel suspect the gas was created. You may take out the patrol surrounding the station but DO NOT assault the facility itself, as you're not equipped for it. Your task is to rescue the Engineer alone.
Expect many guards and enemy QRF on standby.
Good luck, Ghosts!
