Ubisoft has released a new trailer for The Division, showing off "companion play".

What's that? Well, it's the way in which the upcoming MMO shooter integrates both mobile device and core console gameplay.

"Introducing the simultaneous, asymmetric, revolutionary companion application of Tom Clancy's The Division," says the blurb. "Join your team of friends in the game as a drone, from a smartphone or tablet, anytime and anywhere."

The Division is out on next-gen consoles late next year.
