What is Tomb Editor?

Tomb Editor is software that replaces the old and loved Tomb Raider Level Editor. With it, you can build your own Tomb Raider levels to share or enjoy just for yourself! A lot of work has gone into it, it's completely free, it does a lot of the work with little effort, and it's being updated regularly.

You don't need to download the old editor, but I always do first as it has all of the WAD and audio files included:

If you download the XP version, you need to set the compatibility to XP in the file properties before you run the setup.

Although Tomb Editor can be used to build levels, as a beginner you will need at least one .WAD file. This is a file that contains objects and other things that you'll need for your level. You can download the original TRLE where you'll find the WADs in the 'graphics\wads' folder , or download some from the link below. Download them and place them in a folder where you can easily access them:
