***I FOUND OUT HOW TO MODIFY THE PORTAL SO YOU CAN MATCH UP THE TEXTURES - SIMPLY SELECT THE YELLOW PORTAL AND KEEP PRESSING 'F' TO LOWER THE CEILING SEGMENT ALL THE WAY DOWN AND THEN RAISE IT TO THE RIGHT PLACE WITH 'R'***

This video is to show you how to add connected rooms using portals and doors. We'll also be adding triggers so Lara has to use a switch to open a door. Please excuse the bad texturing, it was done very quickly just for this tutorial. :)

I also forgot to mention that rooms can be rotated in 2D view by selecting 'Rooms/Transform Rooms' from the top menu of the room editor.

Although Tomb Editor can be used to build levels, as a beginner you will need at least one .WAD file. This is a file that contains objects and other things that you'll need for your level. You can download the original TRLE where you'll find the WADs in the 'graphics\wads' folder , or download some from the link below. Download them and place them in a folder where you can easily access them:
