Tomb Raider 2013 playthrough Part 01 Lara the Unlucky
0I remember playing this game just after its release and I was mind-blown: the graphics, the story, the action was top-notch. I decided to put the game to a test in 2020, whether it aged well and whether it will fit my current, more mature and demanding taste. I am older now and analyze story/gameplay more thoroughly, I also am more... prickly about illogical, unnecessary and excessive drama - and that is something I unfortunately expect from this game. But all in all, this is my revisit of Tomb Raider 2013 on a better PC, so that I can move on to the newer games from this franchise in the nearest future!
A side not here: when I was recording the footage for the whole playthrough, I experienced various technical issues; my AverMedia either recorded only the audio (for whatever reason) with a black screen, it would crash probably due to high-quality settings that appeared to be too demanding for the microSD card I use (which is strange, because I use a high-quality Toshiba card), etc. I had to repeat certain parts of the game, move back with my saves, or even avoid saving during the final stretch of the game, so that I could be 100% sure I would get all the footage. I hope it does not seem to be "cut out" or anything, I tried my best and stretched my patience to its limits...
