Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay on the highest difficulty Part 01 New video, better quality
PLEASE READ BEFORE (OR AS) YOU WATCH: This is a reupload of uninterrupted footage of the first ninety minutes of the game, with no commentary, played on a decent gaming PC just to have a lot of fun with the game. The reason why I am reuploading it is that I managed to finetune the settings of my recording device; the output videos are of better quality, especially in terms of contrast and brightness or hue. Thus, I restarted the game from the very beginning.
Please bear in mind: I am no tech savvy or FPS/Resolution maniac, so whenever I am satisfied with the performance of a game, I just play it. If you need a video played on ultra settings, with all the goodies of modern technology, please watch other videos that focus on that. However, for any of you who need this, my specs are: Intel (R) Core i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 Gb, 8 gigs of RAM. The video was recorded with Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 4k Plus in PC-free mode, with the highest quality settings offered in Recentral, onto a PNY 128 Gb SD card with writing speed of up to 90 Mb/s as far as I remember. The whole video had over 9 gigs in total, which is very surprising and probably means there is a good quality compression or something like that, I don't know :P But the game OF COURSE looks better on my PC than in this video. I use a Qilive controller, which is not as good as Xbox 360/One or PS4 controllers. That is why my controls might seem jittery/very tentative during shootouts.
The wait is finally over! Probably the most anticipated game of all time is finally here, Cyberpunk 2077! This is, hopefully, going to be a full playthrough. I hope I will find the time in my schedule to search through all the nooks and crannies in Night City. IMPORTANT NOTE: I am a very thorough player, so expect a slow paced walkthrough with some casual exploration, etc. No "rushing" with the story.
Without further ado, these are my initial thoughts after two hours of gameplay:
- the game looks not as I expected, which DOESN'T mean it looks bad. I just expected a slightly different stylistic, but I guess this type of graphics allows very smooth gameplay, bearing in mind the huge world and amount of detail;
- the story, although started a bit abruptly and with no context, makes the impression of a great, movie-like experience;
- the world is realistic, believable, well-detailed and well-designed;
- the RPG elements, character creation, skill trees (maybe not shown in this particular video, but I've seen more of the game), playstyle possibilities: I am already lost in them xD there is a lot thought put into the development of our character;
- shooting mechanics are ok, I did not expect any Arma III or sth like that. FPS elements are what they are supposed to be, nothing more. Everything is fluent and, with the great music, the action is pumped to the limits;
- there are some minor bugs/glitches here and there: either it's an item you can't pick up or a guy sitting on an invisible element of the environment, or NPCs lips not moving when they talk (this is the only thing that annoys me, it makes the impression like a badly installed/made Skyrim mod).
All in all, whatever you read on the Internet about people's great disappointment: Cyberpunk 2077 will be another awesome title that may surpass the success of Witcher 3. People just MUST understand that if they expect photorealistic graphics, 60 FPS in 4K, they will not find it here probably. The game is to offer a large and detailed world with a seemingly great story - that job is done well. To provide such things in constant 60FPS on ultra would require insane PCs and technology...
