This is a looping non-interactive demo of Tomb Raider PC using 3dfx graphics as found on the Diamond Monster 3D Driver discs (v1.04 and v1.08 from 1996 and 1997, respectively). If you are familiar with the game you will note that the sound effects are played in much higher quality than they were in the game as released for PCs. The gunshots are different from any contemporary version.

I am emulating a Voodoo 1 card using 86Box, Windows 95 OSR 2.0 and a Sound Blaster 16. I set the Gamma levels to 1.0, early Voodoo cards set them to 1.7 by default. The demo is still a bit rough in spots as Lara flies out of the water and there are no water sound effects. I could not find a recording of this demo, but there is a similar but even earlier 3dfx demo recording elsewhere on YouTube:    • Tomb Raider ⭐ 3Dfx Alpha Demo
