TOME RPG Follow-Up Stream!
0I'm joined yet again by Michael Prinke to talk about further details with the Terrain of Magical Expertise RPG project! On this stream, we go into the basic story premise, and answer several questions, including how customizable the "White Hat Hacker" player character can be, a general overview of the free prototype-demo we'll be including with the Kickstarter and the level of input you'll have on your donation incentive prizes.
Our current plan is now to launch the Kickstarter sometime in early August. Below are the current ideas we have for the donation reward tiers: (Still Subject to Change)
$15 - Credit in the game.
$30 - Player Character - You’ll receive a basic overworld sprite for your character that will appear in a level of the game! Will appear either in a stage or a hub world.
$30 - A Copy of the Game
$50 - Get a Player character AND a Copy of the Game.
$90 - Speaking Player Character - You’ll receive a basic overworld sprite for your character that will appear in a level of the game! Will appear either in a stage or a hub world and will be able to be spoken to for a line of dialogue. They will also get a speaking icon.
$200 - Enemy Character - You’ll receive a fully-animated enemy player character that can be fought against in a level of the game! Will be allowed to give suggestions on their race, class and elemental-alignment and offer minor ideas for their abilities.
$350 - Special Enemy Character - You’ll receive a fully-animated enemy player character that can be fought against in a level of the game...AND will be featured during a special part of the game! Will be allowed to give suggestions on their race, class and elemental-alignment and offer minor ideas for their abilities.
$500 - Important Enemy Character - You’ll receive a fully-animated NPC character that can be fought against during an important part of the game! Will be allowed to give suggestions on their race, class and elemental-alignment and will work directly with me on what their special abilities are during combat.
